1-SYSTEM: ACRYLIC TRAINING

This is a great all-round builder training course for teaching techniques for overlays and sculpting using the CRYSTAL CLAWZ Acrylics.

This course is intended for new Technicians, or a refresher for those who have been away from the industry for some time. 

COURSE CONTENT

Our training will include both theory and hands on practical training to prepare you for starting up your business.

Course Duration:  5 days

• Health & Safety
• Workstation & Environment
• Nail Preparation
• Acrylic Application, (including reverse French & French Ombre) Maintenance & Removal
• Sculpting with forms

COURSE COST

The course cost of R7,270 includes a full product kit detailed below (valued at approx. R3,600 at full retail price), Examinations, assessment and certification are charged separately shortly before exams.

The examination fees, including assessment fees will be R650 and will be payable before the scheduled exam date.  Any add-ons subject to exam and assessment fees will be payable at the same time.

The following add-on courses are available (includes product, except LED lamp & eFile).  Exam, assessment and certification fees are shown for each add-on.  The costs below are based on the add-on being completed alongside the original course.

1. Gel Polish – R1,150. Exam, assessment & certificate (+R300)
2. Tip Application – R650. Exam, assessment & certificate (+R300)
3. FlexiPro (full tip) Application – R750. Exam, assessment & certificate (+R300)
4. eFiling – R870. Exam, assessment & certificate (+R300)
5. Reverse Moulding (Dual Form) – R925, Exam, assessment & certificate (+R300)

PRE-REQUIREMENT

Your Theory module will be emailed to you in advance, along with an open book test.  You will need to complete the test and bring it with you on the training day.  As this is an open book test, you will be required to achieve at least 90% to pass.

Thoroughly studying your manual in advance means that you will get more hands on practical time in the classroom as theory will only be covered in summary.

EXAMINATION

In order to receive your Certificate of Competence, you will be required to complete a Practical Examination within 6 months of completing your training.  Failure to register for exams within 6 months will require an assessment by your Educator to determine whether any refresher training will be required.  Both the assessment and the additional training will be an additional charge.  Assessment will cost R500 and additional training is charged at R1,000 per day.  These fees are payable in advance of assessment and training.

A full, detailed portfolio of evidence per course will be required prior to the examination to show that you completed your practical work.

The examination fees, including assessment fees will be payable at least 72 hours before the scheduled exam date.  Exam dates cannot be confirmed until proof of payment has been received.  If payment is not received within the specified time, the exam will be rescheduled to a later date.

Should you fail your exams, you will be required to pay the full assessment fee for a new examination and assessment.

Certificates of Competence will be issued only after the successful completion of the examination.

TRAINING KITS

All CRYSTAL CLAWZ courses include a complete training kit. This includes full salon size products, tools, implements, files and a Training Manual.

We do not fill your kit with sample size products.  The product supplied will be more than enough to complete your course and examination, while still having product left over to use on clients.  There will be no need to purchase any additional products to complete your training.

Additional colours will be available to purchase at the training venue, however these are not required for the course and examination.
