JEANETTE DU PLESSIS
Hello there! I’m Jeanette du Plessis, based in Pretoria, Gauteng.
After leaving my first job as a Bank Teller, I’ve been passionately involved in the beauty industry for many years, with a particular focus on nail technology.
I’ve completed several specialized courses, including the Nail Systems International Nail Enhancements Course for Sculptured Acrylic, the Board Examination in Nail Technology (Seta), Precision Training by David Fowler, and International Accreditation by Natalia Gritsenko with Magnetic. I’ve also participated in competitions, securing second place in both the 1991 National Nail Competition in the Sculpting Division and the 1993 SA International Hair & Beauty Expo in the Sculpting category.
Currently, I’m working with Crystal Clawz as a Trainer and Stockist, a role I’ve held since May 2022. Concurrently, since 2001, I’ve been the Co-owner, Salon Manager, and Nail Technician at Nail Ways.
Prior to this, I was with Image Cartel as a Trainer and Stockist, where I provided training in Acrylic and all Gel Systems. I also worked at Dream Nails as a Salon Manager and Nail Technician before joining Image Cartel.
I’m committed to providing the best service and training in the industry, and I look forward to continuing my journey in this vibrant and ever-evolving field.
