MARI JACOBS

Hello! I’m Mari Jacobs, based in Welkom, Free State.

I am the proud owner of iMeraki Spa Training and Distribution. Beyond my academic qualifications and thirteen years of experience in the beauty industry, I have a deep-seated passion for service. I didn’t choose beauty therapy for the financial rewards, but for the love of serving others.

I’ve had a rich educational journey. I studied Beauty Therapy at Goldfields FET College in 2010. I became a Massage and Skincare Specialist at Steiner One Spa World. In 2020, I completed the Crystal Clawz Educator program, and in 2022, I underwent LCN Lash/Microblading Training. Over the years, I’ve also obtained numerous product trainings in skincare, nail enhancements, body treatments, sugar waxing, eyelash extensions, microblading, and more.

In September 2017, I bought a spa I had been working at, and have been working for myself ever since.  Even after opening two more salons, I felt a calling to do more.

I realized how many people in the industry needed help, and I found joy in teaching my therapists. This led me to the training industry. I’ve always had a passion for nails as it allows my creative side to shine.

In 2020 I became an Educator for Crystal Clawz. I’ve had nail training from Bio Sculpture, LCN, Nails for You, Akzentz, Shellac, and more, but nothing compares to Crystal Clawz. I use their products in all my salons and love sharing my knowledge through training.

I believe in lifelong learning, especially in an ever-evolving industry like ours. I continue to learn every day and look forward to helping you grow your future!
