MONJA VAN ASWEGEN
Hello! I’m Monja Van Aswegen, based in Randfontein, Gauteng.
I’ve been passionately involved in the beauty industry since August 1998. My journey began with my first nail training at Simply Nails in January 1999, and I’ve been learning and growing ever since.
Between 1999 and 2001, I underwent comprehensive beauty training in aesthetics, permanent makeup, and acrylic nails. I continued to expand my nail expertise with training at Nail Excellence Nail Academy in 2003, Magnetic Nail Academy in 2003, LNC Nail Academy in 2004, and Young Nails in 2005.
From 2005 to 2011, I served as the Salon Manager and Nail Technician at Executive Beauty Salon in Centurion. In July 2011, I moved to Randfontein, Gauteng, where I opened my own salon in December of the same year.
In 2015, I took another exciting step in my career by opening a Professional Nail and Beauty shop in Randfontein. Then, in 2018, I became a distributor for Crystal Clawz, a brand I truly believe in. I furthered my skills by completing Educator training at the Crystal Clawz in 2020, a role I continue to fulfil to this day.
I offer a variety of workshops, full nail training, and assistance for both nail technicians and clients. I’m passionate about sharing my knowledge and helping others in the industry to grow and succeed. I look forward to continuing my journey in this vibrant and ever-evolving industry.
